Storyline:
A stale tale, the story begins with Gopal (Ajay) who is adored by his TV serial addicted wife Ekta (Kareena) has also got his sister Esha (Amrita) and his brother in law Lucky (Tusshar). All is well till fate takes a turn and he ends up in a yacht with a seductive woman Meera (Celina), apparently Gopal saves Meera from the clutches of few goons and they end up spending the night in the yacht without a choice. However, the idealistic wife that Ekta is, she begins to suspect her husband and Gopal’s various attempts fail to convince her. In order to overcome the crisis, he fakes a story of one Anthony Gonsalves who stayed on the yacht that night and for this he ropes in his friend Laxman (Shreyas) to drive away her fears. But things go wrong when a dead body is discovered at the yacht and in comes ACP Madhav Singh (Arshad) who hates Gopal but loves Esha. He gets his chance and starts investigating the case. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
