The Woodland is a 2016 American extraordinary blood and gore movie directed by Jason Zada and written by Ben Ketai, Scratch Antosca, and Sarah Cornwell. It stars Natalie Dormer and Taylor Kinney.Most of the story is set in and around the Aokigahara Woodland, a backwoods at the northwest base of Mount Fuji in Japan known as a mainstream destination for the self-destructive.
Sara Value, an American lady, gets a telephone call from the Japanese police advising her that they think her pained twin sister Jess is dead, as she was seen going into Aokigahara woodland. Regardless of the worries of her life partner Loot, she adventures to Japan and touches base at the inn where her sister was sitting tight.
At her inn, Sara meets a journalist named Aiden. They drink together, and she lets him know of her guardians' passing in a plastered driving mischance. They were really executed in a homicide suicide started by her mom, which her sister saw, yet Sara did not. Aiden welcomes her to go into the woods with him and a recreation center aide, Michi, so she can search for her sister.
As the three enter Aokigahara, Michi tells Sara that Jess has in all likelihood slaughtered herself. Somewhere down in the forested areas, the gathering finds a yellow tent that Sara perceives as Jess's. With sunset drawing closer, Michi proposes they leave a note for Jess and leave. Sara won't, and Aiden volunteers to stay with her as the night progressed.....
